I am a former student on the PTS Sports Massage Diploma course. I originally qualified in ITEC massage and wanted to add another skill to my repertoire. I had previously attended a Pulse Training taping and strapping workshop, and was very impressed with the level and depth of the course, so when I later discovered they were arranging a sports massage course I was determined to enrol. I work with Penzance and Newlyn Rugby Club and the course has helped me develop many new skills and techniques, to the benefit of both the players and myself.
I have a large network of friends who have completed other sports massage courses, but in a professional setting their range of skills are very limited in comparison to those I have covered on this course. My massage skills have improved beyond recognition, as has my confidence. The lectures are a balance of the theoretical aspects of massage and fun practical learning.
I would strongly recommend this course to anyone with an interest in massage and to those who are looking to further their skills and experience. I have improved my technique immeasurably, and this has led me to gain employment and a chance to use my newly-developed skills.
I am now a full-time practitioner at Oxygen Health Club in Penzance, which is a state-of-the-art fitness facility with a large and varied client base. The feedback received from my clients here has been excellent which as a newly-qualified practitioner is the ultimate confidence booster, and serves as a credit to the first-class instruction I received from Paul Turner on the course.
